Terms
Last updated 26 September 2026
Plain words. Using the site means you agree to these.
🙋 What this site is
- A place where candidates share what happened in a company's hiring process, so others know what to expect before they apply.
- We count what people picked and show their own ratings. We never judge a company.
- You need to be 16 or older to sign up.
✍️ What you post is yours
- A review is your own account of what happened to you. You own it, you are responsible for it.
- Keep it true, keep it about your own experience, and leave names of individuals out.
🚫 What does not belong here
- Insults, slurs, threats, anything aimed at who a person is.
- Made up stories, other people’s stories, secrets you promised to keep, private contact details.
🌍 Public or with friends
- You choose. A circle review stays with the friends you invited.
- A public review can be read by anyone and answered by the company.
✅ Verified and not verified yet
- A hiring email we check earns the ✅ Verified application mark. It shows the person really was in that company's hiring process; it does not check what they wrote, which is their own experience. Without it, the review shows as not verified yet.
- Both count in the company numbers, and the chart keeps them apart.
🎬 Video stories
- A clip is recorded with a mask on and your voice changed, in your phone, before it is sent.
- We look at every clip before it appears. Do not film other people, and do not show anything that names you.
🏢 Companies
- A company can claim its page, reply in public, and report a review.
- It cannot edit a review, hide one, or learn who wrote it.
🚩 Reports and takedowns
- Anyone can report anything on this site, signed in or not: tap 🚩 or use the form on the contact page. Your name and email are up to you.
- A person reads every report and decides: keep it, take it out of public view, or remove it. Reports are never decided by a machine.
- Before a post appears, an automatic check masks swearing and refuses insults aimed at who someone is. Checking proof only adds the verified mark and never removes anything.
- If you gave an email, we confirm your report and tell you what we decided.
- If we act on something you posted, we email you what we did, why, and which rule or law it breaks. We never say who reported it.
- Disagree with a decision? Reply to our email and a person looks again. You can also go to court, and complaints about how we handle reports go to PTS, the Swedish regulator (dsa.pts.se).
- If something suggests that someone’s life or safety is in danger, we tell the police.
📣 Our part
- We host what people write, we do not write it and we do not check every line before it appears.
- Once someone tells us about something illegal, we act on it quickly.
🗑️ Leaving
- You can delete a review, a clip or your whole account whenever you like.
- Anonymous counts stay in the company chart, with nothing that points back to you.
🪪 Who runs this
- dontwanttoworkthere and iwanttoworkthere are run by the company named at the bottom of every page, registered in Sweden.
- Authorities: write to the address on the contact page, in English or Swedish.
⚖️ Which law applies
- Swedish law governs these terms and your use of the site.
- If you live in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland or the UK, you also keep every protection the consumer law of your own country gives you. Choosing Swedish law never takes those away.
- You can take a dispute to the courts where you live or to the courts of Sweden. If we ever have to go to court against you, we do it where you live.
- A company that claims its page agrees that disputes with us go to the courts of Sweden only.
- Write to us first. Most things get sorted faster by email than in court.
🇺🇸 If you use the site from the United States
- Swedish law governs these terms and disputes go to the courts of Sweden, unless the law where you live does not allow that.
- Reviews are written by the people who post them. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act we are not the publisher or speaker of what others post, and keeping or removing a post does not change that.
- Copyright complaints go to hello@dontwanttoworkthere.com with the details the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) asks for. We remove what infringes and close the accounts of people who keep doing it.
- If a claim is made against us because something you posted broke these terms, you cover our reasonable costs of it, as far as the law allows.
🛟 What we are responsible for
- The site is free and offered as it is. We keep it running as well as we can, but we cannot promise it is never down and never wrong.
- Each review is its author's own account. We are not responsible for what other people post, but we act on it once we are told it is illegal.
- As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or a lost chance.
- Nothing here limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it, such as for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence.
📜 Changes
- We can update these terms. The date above changes when we do.
- If a change matters to you, we say so on the site before it starts.
- If a court finds one part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
